A century after a quarry disaster in North Wales, a young woman descended from people from the area travels with friends to visit her family home. They find a place now long forgotten by the Outside World, where the Dead roam the night, and the threat of death is all around.

As her friends fall victim to the supernatural forces, the reason for her homecoming becomes clear: the disaster opened a gateway to the Celtic Otherworld, and it is now she who is now charged with keeping these supernatural forces from seeping into the outside world...
